The September 14 telecast is not the start of all Emmy results. The Television Academy announced juried-category winners for Animation, Costumes, and Emerging Media on August 12. Those awards were scheduled for presentation during the September 5 and 6 ceremony nights, which are now behind the calendar.
That timing matters because the verified Kalshi events concern total awards across all three 78th Emmy Awards ceremony nights, not only awards announced during the NBC telecast. Traders evaluating a count or most-wins contract should therefore account for September 5, September 6, and September 14.

The API metadata showed the same values on the September 7 recheck: a 2026-12-31T15:00:00Z close time for the count event and a 2027-12-31T15:00:00Z close time for the most-wins event. Those far-future metadata timestamps do not establish the practical trading deadline because the quoted early-close condition also applies. Current availability, prices, and trading status must come directly from Kalshi.
